Archive House ("we," "us," or "our") is a visual documentation service based in Dallas, Texas. We operate archivehouse.co and deliver residential construction-stage documentation records to builders and homeowners.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any disputes shall be resolved in Dallas County, Texas.
Your use of our website, engagement of our services, and access to any documentation archive may each be subject to separate terms and acknowledgments. By using our website, you agree to the data practices described in this policy. Engaging our services or accessing a documentation archive is subject to the applicable service agreement or access acknowledgment in addition to this policy.

We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing from third parties. We do not profile individual homeowners for advertising purposes.
Documentation records produced by Archive House — including Systems Maps™, photographs, and 3D captures — are visual reference records only. They are not inspections, code compliance reviews, certifications, warranties, quality assurance reports, or substitutes for professional evaluation of any kind.
A Systems Map™ reflects what was visually accessible at a specific point in time. It does not represent conditions within walls, above ceilings, below slabs, or in any area outside the direct field of capture. Nothing in a documentation record constitutes a professional opinion, endorsement, or representation regarding construction quality, safety, or fitness for any purpose.
Homeowners and builders are encouraged to engage licensed inspectors, engineers, or other credentialed professionals for any assessment beyond what visual documentation can provide.
The visual documentation records we capture — including 3D scans, photographs, and Systems Maps™ — are the property of Archive House. A limited, non-exclusive license to access and use these records is granted to the builder and, at or after closing, to the homeowner, subject to the terms agreed upon at the time of delivery.
Documentation records contain visual data of residential construction. We treat this content with care. Records are not shared with third parties except as required to deliver the service (e.g., hosted delivery through our platform partners) or as required by law.
Archive House commits to five (5) years of hosted archive access through our delivery platform. Following that period, hosted access may be discontinued. At the time of delivery, homeowners receive a downloadable offline viewer package for local reference, independent of any third-party hosting platform.
We retain business records, consent logs, and contractual documents for a minimum of five (5) years, or longer if required by applicable law or pending legal proceedings.
If you request deletion of your personal contact information and there is no active contractual, legal, or financial reason to retain it, we will honor that request within a reasonable time.
Archive House may use third-party technology providers to support website hosting, payment processing, hosted archive delivery, consent logging, offline viewer package creation, file storage, and related service functions. These providers may process limited information necessary to perform those services, such as contact information, project access details, archive access records, and technical usage data.
Each third-party provider operates under its own privacy policy and security practices. We select providers that maintain commercially reasonable data security practices, but we are not responsible for their independent practices beyond our contractual arrangements with them.
Archive House does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We do not participate in data broker networks. Your contact information and your home's documentation record are not marketed or monetized beyond the delivery of your archive.
We maintain commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. Our delivery platform enforces access control through a click-wrap gate and may log access information including name, email, and timestamp.
No system is completely secure. In the event of a material data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable Texas law.
